Welcome to It’s Only Words, my little corner of the blogosphere, where I comment on events and issues of interest here in my home state of Washington.
I’m not a policy wonk but I do take an interest in what’s going on around the state (okay, especially the western part of the state but only because that’s where most of the weird stuff happens) and try to apply common sense to make sense of what’s happening here at home.

Good luck, and keep up the good work. I’ve been really encouraged at the number and quality of conservative blogs out there, especially how many have just started. It’s like a tsunami of con blogs; I love it!

Just stopped by for a quick read, the headlines about the prolife ad was an eye catcher. How is your rereading of the Bible coming along. Great goal! What have you chosen to do to be more unsedentary, I am not having much success in this area. We are travelling in our travel trailer and working on our F.U.S.E. program, I need to commit to regular exercise.
Our new blog is slowly coming together, we have one glitch that we cannot seem to overcome just yet.
I like you tweet/blog name, the song keeps coming into my mind… It’s only words and words are all i have….

I followed a twitter lead to read about mail re: pro-choice… and ended up here and found like-minded thinking…always a good thing! I tried to check out the America c2c link but am told the site is by invitation only. How does one become a part of this group? I’m new to twitter, blogs, etc so am still learning my way around
. Will be checking in on this blog and the links listed…I love that I’m finding a conservative community online.

Hi Paula, I got here through the KOS/twitter/stimulus thing. I’m amazed by the capacity we seem to have on both sides to assume the other side is stupid or malicious. On policy I’m likely to side with KOS, but thinking that retweeting without investigating sources is somehow a unique trait of (stupid!) conservatives is really, well, stupid.

I am very conservative, with a passion to argue logic with liberals. I’m a former USAF vet, with a strong love for our military in general.
